Since we're going to be talking about (among other things) WWII saints tonight, I thought I would post this picture - this is the "guestbook" from the Vatican, open to the page where Benito Mussolini signed it, when he came to sign the treaty that made the Vatican an independent country. It was 1929. His signature is the one on the top right column. Incidentally, the Pope ghosted him, and didn't show up - the pope sent an ambassador to sign on his behalf and never sat down with the dictator.
